Yes: Would not recommend any opiates, as there is rebound and the problem gets worse. Instead, focus of prevention, and this includes prescription meds, but also botox. Have had amazing success with petadolex, but also have used feverfew, riboflavin, magnesium, and co-q-10, all of which are otc. Maybe a nearby headache specialist can guide you.

One option: Agree with Dr. Machanic. An alternative medicine option is acupuncture.It can be an excellent adjunctive treatment for migraine headaches.
