NO FAT RESTRICTIONS: After the gall bladder is removed, there is no reason one cannot consume fat. The gall bladder is not a vital organ, and now all the bile you create goes directly into the gut. Initially, after surgery, a small percent of men and women may have some post meal urgency, but that is self limited. If not, Imodium (loperamide) ad can correct the problem. Enjoy your cheeseburger.
