A member asked:

Does high blood pressure/hypertension qualify for family medical leave and if so how high must the blood pressure be to qualify?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally no: As a general rule no can be managed at most times at office. Anything that would qualify for fmla leave would also constitue emergency and hospitalization would be indicated.
