I have to self catheterise my urethra and i keep getting a staph infection is there anything else i can possibly do ?

Self cath: You should review your self cath technique with your urologist. If your technique is satisfactory, you may need to take a low dose of oral antibiotic at bedtime to prevent infection. It is also possible that, if your having no symptoms, the staph growth on culture is insignificant colonization rather than infection.
