Need more info: You will need to consult with a dentist experienced in orthodontic care. The actual details of the hardware used to close the gaps are less important than understanding why the gaps are there in the first place. For example, a tongue thrust may be involved that could make post treatment case stability very elusive. Get the whole story and go from there..

Ortho consult?: Discuss your wishes with your parent or guardian, and your own general dentist. If everyone is on the same page, you should see an orthodontist who can then carefully evaluate your occlusion (bite) and determine what would be the best course of treatment for you at this time. It's more important to find a trusted & skilled dentist for advice, than to wonder what type of braces would be used.

Many types of gaps: What is more important than the type of braces, is the orthodontist you choose. Ask lots of questions when you and your folks go for a consultation. Gaps occur for many reasons, but rest assured, a good orthodontist will explain it all and help you get the smile you deserve.

Depends: Gaps can be closed many ways depending upon the severity and location. You need to see an orthodontist who will explain all the options available for your specific gaps.
