DNA now or later?: No reason not to wait. Get the thrush under control. A dna swab can be done at a later date.The results won't change.

Not related: Oral thrush is fungal infection which needs to be treated with Nystatin solution. Dna test has nothing to do with it. You shouldn't wait for dna result to start the treatment.
