Many possibilities: Based on your history, there are many possible issues with the shoulder (inflammation, strain, etc.) see your physician as he/she will want to know the severity of the accident, seatbelt worn, was there passenger space intrusion, where the other vehicle stuck your vehicle, speeds of your vehicles, were you a passenger or driver, were you holding the steering wheel, etc. Info needed for diagnosis.
