There : There are several shoulder problems that cause hand tingling including instability there are also problems with the shoulder that are not shoulder issues but neck issues , associated with shoulder pain and nerve root irritation. Also as the other post mentioned a heart or lung problem should always be ruled out and all this can only be ruled out by seeing a medical provider.

Various : Various possibilities though without knowing more information you are best to go to your local emergency room or primary doctor if he/she handles such things and rule out a heart attack. Once you rule out a heart attack, there are other possibilities including primary shoulder conditions and, given the tingling of your arm, neck conditions. But again, see someone asap just to play it safe.
