How can a limitation of motion or pain at the vertebral column affect movement in the hip, knee, and ankle?

Only if the movement: Of that leg may increase your back pain if there is muscular tightness or spasm or if there is a disc herniation creating leg pain where leg motion may aggravate the sciatic pain. See your doctor if this is not getting better.
