Line around iris: The line around your iris may be iris pigmentation variation or corneal issues. This may be completely normal/developmental related or it could be related to aging/disease. It does not sound like anything to be concerned about but i would see an eye doctor to be sure.

"Arcus Senilis" ?: It sounds like you have an"arcus senility"which is usually a collection of fat around the iris or cornea. It might be advisable to check with your internist about checking your lipid profile.

Normal in light eyes: Dark ring around the cornea is not lipids. It is usually a normal finding in people with light eyes, blue green, or honey colored. Cholestrol deposits are greyish white.
