A member asked:

If i take probiotics should they be refrigerated? or are room temperature supplements okay to take?

Both are fine: Many probiotics are not refrigerated, like culturelle or any of the ones i passed in trader joes recently. But they do just fine, with the appropriate amounts of bifidum, acidophilus, and lactobacillus that you're looking for. Some are refrigerated though, like kefir and activia yogurt.

Probiotics: It depends on which one you buy. The package should say whether refrigeration is required, but it it doesn't, i'd suggest keeping it in the fridge.

Check the label: Many forms of probiotics are stable at room temperature, but some do need to be refrigerated - especially after opening. Probiotics can be a great choice for health. Thanks for asking!
