ID Doc referral-: Your case is the type that merits a referral to an outpatient infectious diseases specialist. However, it will be important to gather all the data- progress notes , lab results, rafiology readings, culture results- and organize it in chronologically, as well as writing your history of present illness down on paper. This will go a long way to help your specialist.
