Leg: There is condition called meralgia paresthetica which involves femoral nerve which is above sciatic nerve from upper lumbar region. Nerves can be impinged or crowded as they exit spinal cord or in this case upper thigh as it exits groin area. May be related to excess use upper front thigh muscles. Nerve irritation can be burning, " numbness" evan itch or other discomforts but nerves follow pattern.
