Can still be normal.: Variations in menstrual bleeding can be due to a variety of causes, but if this is the only abnormal cycle you experience, this can be due to a normal change in ovarian hormone production. If your cycles return to normal there is no cause for concern. If the cycles continue to be abnormal, see your physician for further evaluation.
