How long after an inguinal hernia repair can i return to hockey?

Hockey hard core: Six weeks is where you reach 90% maximum healing if you rupture a repair its harder to repair and longer recuperation so I am sure your surgeon gave you instructions follow them for your own good!

Hernia recovery: Inguinal hernia surgery recovery is dependent on the type of repair that is performed and individual patient healing. Typically after posterior mesh placement - laparoscopic or open - most patients can resume exercise and sports within 2 weeks. After anterior inguinal hernia surgery - with mesh or without, sometimes it may take 4-6 weeks to get back to sports such as hockey or soccer.
