Not per ESSURE: This would not be caused by the essure implants. Menstrual irregularities can be hormonal in nature and should be investigated by your physician.

No: Essure has no long term effect on bleeding patterns as they are simple "plugs" in your tubes. Hormonal issues, often reveal themselves after discontinuing birth control pills that correct them... Like a 28 days between your periods which matches the pill pack.
