A few days: Generally, most menstrual cycles are 5-7 days in length. The first 3-5 of these will involve moderate to heavy flow of menstrual blood. The last 2-3 days will be more what many ladies will consider spotting. Spotting that occurs outside the cycle or ever during pregnancy can be from serious issues ANS should be brought to the attention of your doctor.
