Do i have knee bursitis? knee is very swollen, tender near the front, feels warm & very difficult to bend. it hit the edge of a bathtub last summer.

It is possible : There 4 types of knee bursitis- suprapatellar, prepatellar, infrapatellar and pes anserine. Bursitis may be due to trauma, infection or inflammation. You may experience pain, swelling, tenderness and feel a lump on top of your knee cap plus may have difficulty bending/kneeling.Given the possibility of infection and need to rule out alternative possibilities, i recommend seeing a physician asap.
