What's the maximum dosage of acetaminophen that i can take while pregnant?

4 grams/day: The dosing is no different for pregnant women taking Acetaminophen than non-pregnant women. The max dose is 1 gram every 6 hours with a maximum of 4 grams per day. Importantly, this is assuming the person does not have kidney or liver problems, and is not an alcoholic.

Tylenol: The main issues is liver toxicity. If you take 7gm in one dose your liver will fail. Current FDA guidance is no more than 4gm/day. Almost all the doctors and academic bodies state no more than 2-2.5gm per day. They also advise do not use OTC products with tylenol and do not consume alcohol when you take tylenol.
