Exercise and Implant: Yes it is safe to exercise with breast implants. Generally you are asked to avoid strenuous activity for 6 weeks after surgery, but after that you are free to return to normal activities.

Yes.: Most patients are able to return to “full activity” several weeks after breast augmentation surgery. There are some exercises, such as push-ups, bench press etc. Which may be best delayed for several months. Best wishes.

Of course : Surgeons will vary in their recommendations and there willbe some difference based in tech issues and implant location. Typically many exercises are permitted by 3 weeks with unrestricted activity by 3 months. However under the muscle implants may be distorted by certain exercises and you may want to avoid these. Definitely: If your implants are behind the muscle you may or may not notice a small decrease in the strength of your pec muscles. Unless you are a competitive bodybuilder this should not be an issue.

Yes: Breast implants have been implanted in millions of women worldwide including professional athletes with no loss of muscle strength. Implants placed underneath the muscle layer may require a longer period of protracted chest wall exercise than implants placed above the muscle, but in general once healing is complete implants should not interfere with your activities.
