Benign: Likely a benign finding. Some degree (usually trace) regurgitation is normal across most cardiac valves except the aortic valve.

Regurg. Means Leak: Regurgitation (aka insufficiency) means leak: not rare but not optimal; ie a portion of the blood which goes forward backs up during (or between) heart beats; the respective valve is closing without fully sealing. This always ↑es heart workload; extra blood must be pumped, each beat, to compensate for blood leaking back. On right heart side, small & not ↑; no big deal. Keep BP ↓ to minimize.
