Elevated pressure: This may be a sign of elevated intracranial pressure depending on which veins. It could also be a sign of shunt infection or shunt malfunction if you have one of those. A doctor's visit is warranted here.

More visible veins: Because the size of the head is bigger, the veins are more visible.
