Likely, meds: Most likely from any narcotic pain medication coupled with dehydration. Stop the pain meds -- use Ibuprofen if needed-- and push water to get rehydrated. If these things do not apply to your situation, then see your oral surgeon. Depending on tooth location, could affect sinuses and / or ear. And might be infection. Also may be oral/antral fistula. See the oral surgeon. Good luck.
