Lubricate: Eczema/atopic dermatitis treatment varies depending upon the age of the child. Without seeing your child, i wouldn't recommend any prescriptions, etc. You could start with the following: detergent without perfume/softners, no fabric softner, bath with cetaphil, dry carefully, and lubricate with ointment like aquaphillic or petroleum jelly. More severe cases may require prescription medication.
