A member asked:

If you would have thermal choice uterine ablation and it does not do what it is meant to do, can i have a another uterine ablation?

Sometimes: Ablations are reasonably good at normalizing menstrual bleeding and sometimes at even stopping periods. If one ablation style is unsuccessful at doing this, sometimes another style may be more effective. It also may make more sense to consider other options. Ablation after another ablation can sometimes be more difficult and result in more complications.

Yes you can: There are several methods of performing an ablation. The safest and most effective method of repeating an ablation is with the "hot water" or hydrothermablation (hta). Look for a doctor who does this kind of ablation in your area.
