1-2 weeks: After removal of your wisdom teeth, if there are no complications; then 1 or 2 weeks should be enough time to heal sufficiently for you to have braces placed. Good luck!

Minimal time: There really is no need to wait any significant time period before you get braces after having your wisdom teeth removed.

Short time: You should be healed in just a few weeks. Your orthodontic specialist, in consultation with your oral surgeon, can give you an answer based on your individual physiology.

Out of pain?: No need to wait a long time-- just until you are out of pain from the oral surgury.

No wait needed: In fact, wisdom teeth are often removed during braces. You can begin orthodontic treatment almost immediately.

Wisdom teeth- braces: As soon as you are comfortable enough to allow the braces placement procedure, usually about a week. Your orthodontist should be able to guide you with that decision.
