A member asked:

When a person is diagnosed with dementia (in the very early stages), when will they die?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Variable/hard to say: There is much variability in life expectancy from time of diagnosis to time of death. Much has to do with the virulence of the disease process; the type of care received; the management of other, secondary medical complications.
