A member asked:

What causes high cholesterol, what are its risks, and what can i do to lower the risks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Triglycerides: Are more important than cholesterol. Although cholesterol is involved in atheroma (arterial disease) it is not the cause. Triglycerides are associated with sugar ingestion.
