Yes: There is a parasitic worm that lives inside pike and carp, and will lodge in the G.I. Tract and block absorption of vit b-12 causing anemia, and cognitive problems like a dementia. It is not like a stroke and is reversible if the vitamin b-12 is replaced, and the worm is dispatched.
