Salivary glands: That area is dense in salivary glands, it may be an occluded salivary gland. Sometimes they go away by themselves. Have your dentist take a look to rule out other more rare possibilities.

Maybe a cyst: Or a blocked salivary gland duct. You should see your dentist or an oral surgeon as there are several other possiblites.
