Get some latex exam gloves and cut off the fingers. Apply the mix to the toe and cover the toe with the latex 'finger'. It will give a certain hydraulic pressure to the mix to force it under the nail.

Poorly effective: Over the counter or non-prescription, medications for toenail fungus are prevalent. However in my opinion, poorly effective against the infection. There are many medications directed to softening the toenails and improving the appearance of it. This does little to cure the fungus. There are few exceptions out there.
