I wouldn't. He's : Already getting nature's most perfect food & he'll indicate when he's full. Cereal can clog nipples; cross-cutting them may cause choking when he tries to control the flow. The aap's healthy child app has info on diet & emerging independent feeding: 8-mo.Olds eat pureed food from a spoon & finger-feed; 9-mo.-olds drink from a cup held for them. 12-mo.-olds can wean to a cup. It goes fast !
