A member asked:

Is it bad for me to be cracking my knuckles all the time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: There's no scientifically proven problem with frequent knuckle cracking, despite what you're grandmother may have told you. In fact, there are disagreements as to what actually makes the cracking noise among physicians and anatomists. There may be some wear and tear on the joints of the fingers, but unless it's painful, you're probably fine.
