Trazodone: Trazodone is a sedating antidepressant, not likely effective for anxiety other than inducing sleep.

Might consider: Trazadone may be useful for sleeping if taken at bedtime, and a good night's rest may help alleviate tension. However, not perhaps the best direct choice for anxiety, as other drugs may provide far more potent benefit in this regard (such as alprazolam, various beta blockers, misc sedative tranquilizers). Discuss further with your doctor, as each person may do better on different items.
