What are the odds of a tumor being cancerous?

Need more info,,: I think more information is needed for your question. In general, very few tumors are actually cancerous, and these are detected only at the end of their growth. Even a small mass is the result of many doublings of cancer cells. It can be that a person has a lump or two in their body without knowing it. That's why so many imaging devices and screening techniques are needed to find what we can.
