Best treatment of..: Fear is education! get a visit to a bariatric surgery program let them evaluate you teach you about the multiple different procedures available, evaluate your particular benefit/ risk ratio and then you can be a educated decision- fear dissapates!

Relax and research: First, you can relax knowing that the surgery is fairly simple these days, about as safe as taking out your appendix. Then, do research. Learn about the procedures. Learn about the regional doctors. Find one who is experienced, has a good followup, and is compassionate. Knowledge and preparation take away fear.
