Can i put vaseline on on blister to help with the pain?

Yes: Vaseline, an ointment or emollient is useful to cover and moisturize the blister (lip?), it may reduce discomfort, but not markedly. Sometimes we prescribe an ointment with a local anesthetic to ease the pain. Good luck!
