Tincture of time: It will get better over the next few days. Risk of infection from lip burns are very low in otherwise healthy people. You could take an over the counter analgesic such as Acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Warm salt water: What are your "tips"? Warm salt water or any of the baby teething gels are good to numb it. It will just take some time to heal.
