No wait time: Septoplasty is performed on the interior of the nose. The nasal bones and structural architecture will not be touched- thus wearing glasses is of no concern for my patients. Rhinoplasty on the other hand may involve mobilization and modification of the nasal bones. They form the ridge sidewalks of the nose. Wearing glasses before 6 weeks can lead to disturbance and malpositioned, increased swellin.

Glasses no problem: A standard septoplasty shouldn't affect your ability to wear glasses after surgery. A rhinoplasty in which your nasal bones are broken can cause temporary issues though.
