Depends: Stress tests and gallbladder scans can be done without radiation (ultrasound). The real question is whether they're necessary. If you're having chest pain and you have risk factors, the risk of the radiation has to be weighed against the risk of missing significant heart vessel disease. Best to ask your doctor how necessary the tests really are...
