Not for workout: This is an omega-3 fatty acid supplement, and there is no evidence whatsoever for energy or body-building effects. It has been promoted for cardiovascular benefits after years of study in an attempt to find the connection between seafood diets and improved cardiovascular health. But a large multi-site randomized double-blind clinical trial just concluded that outcomes are not improved on omega-3.
