Facts?: Did you have a "tooth buildup" or a temporary crown made? I doubt they used anything with "brass" metal. I am not sure of the laws in your state and exactly what "dental assistants" can and cannot do when personally treating a patient. I would address any concerns that you may have with the dentist directly.
