Drink fluids: Have you has a cold recently? Any congestion? The pain you are feeling could be an infection, or it could be a blocked eustachian tube (allows for pressure equalization on both sides of the eardrum). Drinking a lot of fluids can help loosen the mucus to help open things up. The water you drink is a homeopathic remedy since that is all homeopathy is. I hope you feel better soon, if not, see doc.

Otitis: Otitis media is a possible diagnostic. Not sure until it is examined by an ent.

Ear infection: You may have an ear infection, and i agree with my colleagues that you need a doctor's examination to know for sure. If it is, the conventional physician may suggest an antibiotic and a decongestant. Homeopathic treatment is also possible, but you need a skilled homeopath to take your case thoroughly by your symptoms (not just those in your ear). This could be helpful especially if recurrent.
