Depends: I routinely had kids this age travel from the states to/from my base in Japan with similar flight duration. They usually tolerated the trip better than their parents at that age but were difficult as they became toddlers. Try to plan for their health needs, avoiding obviously sick travelers and having a plan for when they get fussy.
