Get follow up: A lump that forms after a fall can often be due to hematoma, which is a 'mass of blood'. Large collections can take weeks to resorb; however, after 2 years, a cyst may have formed around the blood collection. See your doctor for examination. Further testing ( like ultrasound or x-ray) may be needed. If a cyst has formed, it may need to be removed surgically.
