Advil (ibuprofen): First, you may be overdoing your entry into exercise. Some pain and discomfort is normal after initiating a fitness routine, but you should not be in agony. Take an advil (ibuprofen) or naproxsyn and drink plenty of water. Take a few days off, start back gradually. If you are still in agony in a few days, or the advil (ibuprofen) doesn't work, get seen by your doc - you may have strained a muscle or torn something.
