Xrays needed first: Protruding upper jaw can have skeletal and sytemic implications as well as dental implications. Here, i will address the dental: special xrays will help evaluate the need for orthodontic correction for the protruding upper jaw. In some instances surgical correction may also be needed. A comprehensive evaluation by a team of specialists would be appropriate.
