Normal: Prominent veins in hand and feet usually belong to the deep venous system and unless associated with gross varies do not require treatment and cause no problems.

Normal veins: Prominent hand veins are normal nearly 100% of the time, as dr. Katz said. Hand veins typically become more prominent with age.
