Get Rx that works: This is the 21st century and all acne is manageable. Being a young person is hard enough without having to deal with acne or bad advice. Severe acne won't yield to over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide; topical Clindamycin and retinoic acid are a good second life but chances are a systemic antibiotic or a dermatologist's big guns will be required. It's your right, use it.
