A member asked:

Am i able to play soccer if i have plantar fasciitis?

You can: You may continue to play if it does not cause too much discomfort. Make sure your shoes and cleats are of good design, fit and not worn out. Make sure you stretch thoroughly before and after soccer, and consider having arch supports in your shoes. Your podiatrist can provide specific guidelines for you.

Sure: I would recommend that you wear a night splint and i n the cleat to either wear an orthotic or have your foot taped i.E a low dye strap to support the plantar fascial ligament.
